Zen sucks
Ok, be smart… if you ever have to choose between an mp3 player and a Creative Zen… choose the first, it doesn’t matter which it is.
Creative Zen’s features/price ratio is the best in the market, but this while iPod-like gadged is as stable as a depressed nun. The first day i bought it, I noticed a problem in the female jack which connected to the headphones: it was very unstable, and one of the channels was faulty. OK, I sent it back, and they gave me another one… three days later, i started having hard disk problems: it seems to hang randomly. Please don’t buy a Zen, at least until Creative heals all the chronic diseases it suffers from.
So, not a lot of music lately… I’ve noticed that Brahms’ requiem is a nice piece of art… wonderful. I’m currently listening to the tertiary phase of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. I’m having a lot of work at FEUP: distributed AI assignment, software eng. lab assignment, enterprise management assignment, the autonomous robot project (check my wiki), and so on…
I’m currently trying to track down a bug in the Linux port of Noble Ape 0.676. It seems like there is a thread concurrency issue… i’ll have to study it closely (when i have time…;)).
